Wayne Chase, Chairman of the Board of Directors:
Wayne has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2013. He has previously worked with the US Postal Service, was a truck driver for years and oversees our trucks. Wayne also served in the Army and received the Silver Star Medal for valorous and meritorious actions while engaged in direct combat operation urgent fury.
Doug has served on the Board of Directors of GAFRC since 2015. He retired after over 31 years of service with the Clayton County Police Department and has continue to work there part time since 2013.
He has been racing in the Sports Car Club of America club racing program since 2001.
Doug holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University. He has also been a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church since 1994, and is serving on various committees and boards at the local, district and conference levels. Having served on the North Georgia Housing and Homeless Council for several years he finds this to be a rewarding continuation of his ministry to those in need.
Beth was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She spent two years in the corporate sector before becoming an entrepreneur. Beth started her own cleaning service 35 years ago and since then has assisted both commercial and residential consumers. In 2004, Beth and her husband Dan co-founded their local photography business which specializes in both corporatate and family pictures. In addition to her business ventures Beth has enjoyed serving her community for many years. She has been active in the pre-school department at First Baptist Church in Locust Grove, Georgia for 15 years and loves to minister to children of all ages, she also visits residents of Westbury Nursing Home on a regular basis, where she enjoys providing home cooked meals. Beth's favorite past time is spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. In her spare time she is an avid runner.
Jeff is an area manager with Carter-Haston. He joined the firm in 1994. He makes his home in the Atlanta area, manages 6 properties consisting in nearly 1,200 units located in Georgia. He has more than 15 years of experience in property management with specific expertise in rehabilitation and turn-around situations. He spent the first seven years of his career operating communities in Central and Southeastern Texas. Jeff was promoted to area manager after working first as a property manager in Georgia. He also oversees the most difficult and involved renovation projects. He is also a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association. Jeff is not only a board member, he is also one of GAFRC's most valued volunteers, assisting where he is needed.
